Check this out if you're in the North East for Aer tickets!

The buds over at GMAD are helping a W&F favorite, Aer, make sure their upcoming North East tour is a blast. They're apparently giving away two free tickets to each of their shows and I figured I'd share the link to promote it for more people to enter. Check it out here and enjoy!

Young Jeezy - Its Tha World (Album Review)

New fire from one of my favorites right here! My favorites from this project are, by far, R.I.P., How It Feel, and Get Right. I was unable to get the whole thing via SoundCloud for the post here, so my apologies. Overall, I think this was a really good project from one of the current southern powerhouses. Jeezy is really working hard and putting out some real stuff these days and making a name for not only himself but, also, Southern rappers. Check Its Tha World out below and enjoy!

Dido - Let Us Move On (Feat. Kendrick Lamar)

Check out this post via DJ Booth for Dido's new song, Let Us Move On, featuring Kendrick Lamar. You should recognize Dido from Eminem's Stan from years past. Some good stuff here. Enjoy!

YONAS - Chick Chill (A'capella)

My bad for hoarding this to myself, but, then again, if you are a YONAS fan you already have this. Here he goes releasing some mystery material to keep his insatiable fans from going bonkers. This was shot back in the day while he was editing the music video for Fall Back earlier this year. I'm a huge fan of his and can't wait for this new stuff to come out. Enjoy!

This is just awful...not gonna mix words about it here.

Big K.R.I.T. - Now and Then (Feat. Slim Thug)

Krizzle and Thugga combine on this track for some down south feel good vibes behind the wheel. K.R.I.T. does pretty much everything on this track, as he handled the production and the vocals. Enjoy!

Skylar Grey - C'mon Let Me Ride (Feat. Eminem)

I was NOT ready for this...just.not.ready.at.all. lolz

This is what Eminem is doing with all his free time?

French Montana - Marble Floors (Feat. Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, & Lil Wayne)

aaauuuAUGH! ROSS! I'll admit...I'm feelin this. Normally I don't like any of these guys (closet Tity Boi fan). I think they all killed this though and the beat bangs. Enjoy!

RaVaughn Brown - Better Be Good (Feat. Wale)

Wobbles favorite Wale comes in here with RaVaughn Brown on her step out into the limelight. Never heard of her before, but she does a solid job on this track. Wale didn't really do much for me on this, but I think he put his name on it for Brown's sake. Enjoy!

Big Boi - In The A (Feat. Ludacris & T.I.)

I'll never be one to pass over a song I see reppin the South. Nothing "risky" about In The A here as these boys do their normal things here. Check it out below and enjoy!

T.I. - Sorry (Feat. André 3000)

T.I. has been a busy boy lately working on his upcoming album. He teams up with the legendary 3000 here for Sorry. André 3000 has always been one of my favorites and he doesn't disappoint here (low key outperforming tip). Check it out below!

Young Jeezy - How It Feel (Feat. Lil Lody)

Definitely feelin the beat to this as Jizzle lets us all know "how it feel"(s) to be on top of the game...apparently it includes lots of women ( ._.)

50 Cent - My Life (Feat. Eminem & Adam Levine)

Can't say I'm too surprised to see Em on a feature like this, but it still doesn't make it any easier to cope with. The guy just hasn't been the same since he got clean...where did the Amytiville days go? He flops so hard when he gets on pop songs like this. However, having said all that, he is still the best part of the track. Check it out and see if you like it more than I did.

Young Jeezy - We Done It Again

I know I'm late on this, but whatever it's still worth a post. After teaming up with Nas in 2008 for My President Is Black, Jeezy comes back for round two now that Obama has defeated Mittens for his second term. Take a listen below as Jeezy drops a few verses here in celebration of Obama's second term.

Wobbles favorite, YONAS, comes out with a new track that is going to be on his forthcoming EP, Bright Lights, Big City. Check out the free download of Thought I Told Y'all below and enjoy this guy as he is always puttin out hits these days.

YONAS just jumped off Aer's nationwide tour after shuttin venues down left and right. He is back in the studio working on new stuff, which should be exciting news for any YONAS fan out there. Enjoy!

Tayyib Ali - Like I Used To (Prod. 2Astronauts)

Tayyib Ali has attained a pretty solid following through his work on Keystone State of Mind and I definitely give him his props on what he has produced recently. Having said all that, I'm not his biggest fan in the world despite recognizing the catchiness to his tracks. Like I Used To is supposedly a precursor to a drop of Keystone State of Mind 2 coming up in the coming months? Not sure...just a rumor. This track is catchy and worthy of a listen. Hope yall enjoy!

Kendrick Lamar - The Jig Is Up (Dump'n) [Prod. by J.Cole & Canei Finch]

OMG...just when I thought Kendrick couldn't do better than good kid, m.A.A.d city, he goes and gives us this! AND IT'S A FREE DOWNLOAD@_@_@_@_@_@! Obviously, K.Dot and J.Cole should team up ALL THE TIME if this fire is any indication as to what they can do together. I definitely think yall should check this out and get the download before he comes to his senses and makes us all pay for it! Check The Jig Is Up out below and enjoy!

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Documentary and awesome performance on Ellen

This song is the reason I started following these two, but, as I have continued to stay true, I have been continuously pleased with what they put out time and time again. Wiz Khalifa - It's Nothin (Feat. 2 Chainz) [Official Music Video]

Taylor Gang and Tity Boi combine for your prototypical hip-hop song and music video...let's brag about how much money we have and pretend to drive around an expensive car...everything about this is mediocre for me as per usual with these two. At least I didn't have to listen to Wiz talk about "rolling papers"...Anyways, I hope you enjoy this more than I did!

Alicia Keys - Girl On Fire (Official Music Video)

Shrewd move by the home girl to put this song in that commercial...of course, now I can't even remember what the commercial was for haha. Not too much to say about this except that she continues to amaze me with her ability! Check out the music video for Girl On Fire below and enjoy!

Steve Aoki - Emergency (Feat. Lil Jon & Chiddy Bang)

Speaking of Chiddy Bang haha...

This track could have gone on either page here and I'm actually going to link to both blog pages after posting here first.

Emergency is a classic Aoki song and the walking disaster that is Lil Jon definitely doesn't disappoint with his usual stuff haha...Chiddy carries this for me as I've never been the biggest fan of Aoki's productions (and Lil Jon doesn't even count).

Aoki is good and fun, but just not my favorite...regardless, this is worth a watch/listen for sure. Check out the official music video for Emergency and enjoy!

Outasight - Shine (Feat. Chiddy) [Official Music Video]

Not sure how I feel about the hook but the individual verses are pretty good here. I'm a giant fan of Chiddy Bang and I think Chiddy caries this track a little bit more than Outasight to be honest, but that could just be my bias talking. Having said that, I am NOT saying Outasight doesn't do his thing here. Good for him "makin it". Check out the music video for Shine and enjoy!

A$AP Rocky - F*ckin Problem (Feat. 2 Chainz, Drake, & Kendrick Lamar)

Some fire from the big boys in rap right now! F*ckin Problem is obviously going to be a song every hates in a few months, but, for now, I'm gonna conclude that it's tight. I don't hate Drake's verse for the first time in months and 2 Chainz doesn't say anything TOO stupid (not sure if I can even say that alongside Tity Boi's name). K.Dot and Rocky hold their own as per usual. #TAFFY Enjoy!

Young Jeezy - Get Right

COME...ON!!!

Jizzle goin in and gettin RIGHT! Fresh off TM103, #itsthaworld isn't slowin down. Jeezy still isn't where he was a few years ago, but he does a good job on this track. Check it out below and enjoy!

Kendrick Lamar - The Heart Pt. 3 (Will You Let It Die?)

WOW! Pac reincarnated, huh? Well I'm not entirely sold on that K.Dot, but I will say that this is absolute fire! Starts off slow and peaceful, but then Kendrick comes in and massacres everything in his path. Straight GETTIN IT! Be sure to support this guy as he drops his debut album this week! Enjoy this little drop below and enjoy!

Aer - Songbird (Official Music Video)

Saw these guys recently with another one of my favorites, YONAS, on The Bright Side Tour. If you get a chance to catch these guys while they are on their tour (they have expanded it to a nationwide invasion), I highly recommend it. Both YONAS and Aer killed their sets and the crowds were really into it as well which made the whole thing even more epic. Check out tour dates and locations here!

Now that Aer has had an absolute SMASH hit iTunes in The Bright Side, the duo has released some visuals for one of their tracks off that album, Songbird. A solid video for this track that will definitely attract a larger audience to the album. Definitely worth checking out as these guys continue to grow and drop bombs. Enjoy!

Catch The Bright Side album here!

Mellowhype - Astro (Feat. Frank Ocean)

Not sure why this dude is allowed to be in the same room as Frank Ocean. Just want to let y'all know that I'm not posting this song for any other reason than Frank Ocean. I was not satisfied at all by Mellowhype, but I didn't come in with any expectations either since I had never heard of him before. Maybe y'all will disagree and enjoy him more than I did, but this is all for Frank in my book. Check Astro out below and enjoy!

Chief Keef - I Don't Like (Futuristic Remix)

Mr. One Take is back! Attacking Chief Keef's smash, Futuristic does his one-take magic and goes in hard on this. I'm a giant fan of his quick flow, but he also shows that he can switch it up here. His other project that I've watched so far, Yuck, is also on YouTube and has over 120k views. Give the man from WTF Gang some love. Enjoy the Futuristic Remix of I Don't Like below!

Wale - The Arrival

Folarin has decided to drop a little taste of what is to come as his sophomore album season is about to begin. This track dropped on Twitter a few days ago, but I'm just now getting a chance to make moves on posting it. Nas - Cherry Wine (Feat. Amy Winehouse)

Some good visuals for this awesome song from the native New Yorker, Nas, and the late great, Amy Winehouse. This is definitely worthy of a listen and a look as these two greats combine here to produce some solid art for our ears. I posted this song a while ago with just the vocals when it dropped, but this video definitely adds something the to equation with the hologram on the walls of Winehouse singing during the chorus. Check out Cherry Wine out below and enjoy!

KiD CuDi - King Wizard

With Indicud fast approaching, Cudu has released a new track off the album for our previewing enjoyment. He has been quoted as saying this album will be the "greatest album ever made". While I highly doubt the reality of that statement, I am pleased to review this and announce that Kid Cudi is back to legit status in my book. This track is definitely worth a listen and a free download courtesy of our friends at Fresh New Tracks. Check it out below and enjoy!

Kendrick Lamar - Compton (Feat. Dr. Dre)

California reppin hard here...both these guys have iconic flows and I'm gonna go ahead and predict this as a smash hit within 2 months. October 22nd can't come fast enough for anyone who knows Kendrick...doesn't matter how many he lets leak out, fans will not be satisfied.

I'm definitely a fan of this track and hopefully you will be too. Check Compton out below and enjoy!

Kendrick's good Kid m.A.A.d. City is set to release on the 22nd so get ready people!

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Same Love (Feat. Mary Lambert) [Official Music Video]

A very powerful and well made music video for an extremely powerful and well written song. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis always seem to provide positive messages for us, but this song, to me, stands alone as their best of 2012 that I have heard. I would urge you to support the album The Heist, but I know some will disagree with the message behind this song and won't.

To each his own, I suppose, but I would fight for your right to object just as much as I would fight for their right to do what they want. Just saying it goes both ways in my opinion...agree to disagree on the morality if you must, but don't subjugate others to your beliefs while mandating your own freedom of belief...

Regardless, enjoy the video below!

J. Cole & Major Lazer - Get Free ColeWorld

Two of the best out right now combine as Diplo's side project and Cole combine to retrofit Get Free for some new verses from J. Cole. This is a must download, it is free on Major Lazer's SoundCloud, for anyone who likes either of these artists. J. Cole is a favorite of this blog and Diplo's talent and versatility are undeniable, so check out Get Free ColeWorld out below and enjoy!

Frank Ocean - Blue Whale

Odd Future's crooner, Frank Ocean, goes in on some rap ish for this, his latest track.

While I definitely prefer him sticking to his strong point, singing, the man never seems to lack on lyrics nor talent. Listen to what he is saying here for some cool and interesting stuff. Personally, I think he can still hold his own with this flow.

Take a listen to Blue Whale below and enjoy!

YONAS - Don't Give A Damn (Official Music Video)

As summer comes to an end, YONAS has released the official music video for my summer's track, Don't Give A Damn.

This song was definitely the jam of my summer as it already has well over 100 plays on my iTunes (a lot for me). A huge move for this New York artist to make his mixtape, The Transition, free for download online.

I'm thrilled to say that this has been my current favorite song for a while and the video does not disappoint. Check it out below and catch YONAS on tour with another tight group, Aer.

Enjoy!

Lupe Fiasco - Put 'Em Up

Love this guy! Another tight track from Lupe! His lyrical prowess already well know, but c'mon, the guy makes like 20 "king" references in his first verse haha. #taf

If you're like me, then you can't wait for Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1 to drop next week on September 25th.

Check Put 'Em Up out below and enjoy Lupe's mastery in the mean time!

Tech N9ne - Don't Tweet This (Official Music Video)

Tech N9ne brings the party back, but doesn't want people to know about...aside from everyone watching the video...O_o

J. Cole - I'm A Fool

Cole returned to Twitter the other day and released this song to a fan...who then released it to the world haha. Jermaine supposedly "warned" that his return to Twitter would mark a new ColeWorld season...not a bad way to start if you ask me. Check I'm A Fool out below and enjoy!

YONAS - Don't Give A Damn (Official Teaser Pt. 1)

The entire official music video doesn't drop until October 1st, but that didn't stop the one and only YONAS from dropping a teaser to keep us chomping at the bit until then! This song was and is FAR AND AWAY my favorite song from The Transition mix-tape and I have been looking forward to this video for some time.

My only complaint is that he has now waited for summer to, essentially, end before releasing the video for the track that was #1 on my playlist for this summer. Oh well...

If you haven't already, download The Transition here as it is truly a work of art and has since gotten YONAS signed. Dude is blowing up right now and is on tour with another Wobbles favorite, Aer. Show some love people!

Frank Anthony - Live In My Bed (Feat. Kendrick Lamar)

Don't know much of anything about Frank Anthony and I'm not really to worried about it to be honest. Posting this song because of Kendrick Lamar. While I do think Kendrick makes this song worthy of my time, I still didn't think he did a great job. Somewhat disappointed about this song as I feel like Frank Anthony is average and Kendrick's verse wasn't anything special. Having said that, definitely check Live In My Bed out below and maybe you'll enjoy it more than I did.

A$AP Rocky - Cockiness (Remix)

Big Sean - Detroit

Pretty nice album here from Big Sean. I was particularly into the "Story" tracks by Common, Jeezy, and Snoop "Lion". I realized that I didn't have the bonus tracks that Big Sean included in the album. Those tracks are Life Should Go On and it features Wale as well as All I Know, featuring Wiz Khalifa. Check the main album out before and enjoy! If you want to find those bonus tracks, they're easy to find on YouTube and SoundCloud. Peace!

A$AP Mob - Bath Salt (Feat. Flatbush ZOMBiES)

While it terrifies me that kids are growing up listening to this, I suppose every generation has stuff like this while they're growing up. These guys definitely try to swag hard, but I've gotta be honest and say I'm not really feeling most of this track. I think Rocky salvages the track as he is obviously the best rapper in the Mob, but overall this song just really doesn't do it for me. Take a gander below and see if you enjoy!
