Trey Songz - Hail Mary (Feat. Young Jeezy & Lil Wayne) [Official Music Video]

Got a lot of music to catch up on so I figured I'd start with something I meant to post a while ago. Been looking forward to the visuals for this song since I first heard the vocals and heard Kevin Hart was involved. Huge fan of Hart's comedy and he does well in this video too! Enjoyable and has one of my favorites in Jeezy on the feature. Check it out below and enjoy!

Rita Ora - Love And War (J. Cole)

Even though J. Cole is only on the hook for this, I think it is worth a listen. Rita Ora surprises me out of nowhere on this track that will be featured on her upcoming debut album, Ora, hitting stores August 27th. I guess it should surprise no one that these two Roc Nation labelmates would combine eventually. Only thing I would ask for next time is a Cole World verse. Check it out below and enjoy!

Radical Something - Cutty Spot

A more hip-hop vibe to this Radical Something track in this track than the last #SUMMERofRAD release they gave us. Cutty Spot is a tight song about a really cool spot somewhere out on the ocean that only "they" know about. So many good things going on with Radical Something these days. Super talented guys and they're giving this stuff to us for free this summer. Check Cutty Spot out below and enjoy!

Check Radical Something out on Facebook, Twitter, and SoundCloud too!

Azad Right - Wandering Eye (Feat. Maffew Ragazino) [Prod. Kalby]

This was my first listen to this guy and I came out really impressed. I'm a big fan of the guitar-sampled beat in the background and Azad Right sounds really smooth going over it. Apparently, the people over at GMAD like this guy a lot and I'm now seeing why. Check him out below and enjoy!

Follow Azad Right on Facebook and Twitter too!

Wally Left - LCGT$ (Album Review)

I had to give this guy a listen once I heard he was coming out of my home state of North Carolina. The eight track project, LCGT$, is entirely produced by Chuck Inglish with World Series probably being the most popular song that will come out of this.

After listening to the whole mixtape, I have come to the conclusion that it was well worth my time to download LCGT$ FOR FREE and give it a shot. His sound goes really well over the chilled out beats and samples. This guy is definitely someone to vibe to if you are trying to sit back and relax. Check him out and enjoy!

You can get the download for LCGT$ here for FREE!

Brother Ali - 4th King

Brother Ali goes in here on the Jake One produced sample-beat from the Dr. Dre and Jay-Z assisted Three Kings by Rozay. Called 4th King, we can assume what Ali is trying to say here. As far as the "underground gone mainstream" goes, Ali could be considered a King, but I'll leave that up to everyone to decide for themselves. Take a listen below and enjoy!

Brother Ali will be releasing a new mixtape called Mourning in America and Dreaming in Color on September 18th via DJ Booth so look for that in the coming weeks.

Three Loco - We Are Farmers (Feat. Diplo)

All I'm gonna say about this is that I was not ready for what you are about to see...WOW

Only question, wtf Diplo haha?

Slaughterhouse - Throw That (Feat. Eminem)

Shady Records brings in the boss to accompany one of its biggest acts, Slaughterhouse. Royce, Budden, Crook, and Joell combine with Eminem here on Throw That to spit a rap that can only be considered musical porn. As per usual, Eminem isn't afraid to say whatever comes to his mind. I still miss the old Eminem, but this was somewhat refreshing despite the continued lack of anger from him. Check Throw That out below and enjoy!

Leona Lewis - Trouble (Feat. Childish Gambino)

Switching from what most people know her in the EDM world to a more pop song with hip-hop artist Childish Gambino, perhaps she thought Trouble would distance her from Avicii. I, personally, like her voice and I think Childish Gambino is one of the best young rappers out there who isn't afraid to do things differently than everyone else. This track should help her career and her efforts to distinguish herself as an individual artist with an attractive voice and look. Check the song out below and enjoy!

Maroon 5 - One More Night (Mike Stud Remix)

I admittedly never heard the original song before listening to the remix and when I saw GMAD say they thought this would be better than the original I was skeptical. The flow from Mike Stud here originally just sounded kind of awkward combined with the piano that was playing.

However, then I went back and listened to the original and realized why GMAD said what they said. Mike Stud's version is much better than Maroon 5's and I think that Stud's flow with the piano's beat grows on you if you listen to it a little more closely and give it a second chance.

As a side note, I thought it was awesome that Stud included that particular pianist. Watch the video to figure out who it is if you don't recognize him. Pretty cool stuff so check the video out and I hope you enjoy!

Michael Kiwanuka - Bones (Official Music Video)

Low-key a big fan of this guy. I know it's not exactly hip-hop (to say the least), but I really feel like this guy deserves a post on this blog. I just really love his sound.

The subject of this post is the official music video for Bones, the 6th track off Kiwanuka's debut studio album, Home Again. I'm also going to post the video for, probably, his most famous song (at least on YouTube), Home Again, from that same album. Check the videos out below and enjoy! Be sure to support him if you like what you hear!

Side note: the music video for Bones was shot while he was on a trip in Asia. Very cool to see a little inside such a closed off part of the world for many Americans, from a media stand-point at least.

(1) Bones

(2) Home Again

Hit-Boy - Old School Caddy (Feat. KiD CuDi) [Official Music Video]

The official video for Old School Caddy drops the other day with a tight verse feature from KiD CuDi. I like what I'm hearing from Hit-Boy and I'm really enjoying Cudder's recent resurgence. Hopefully his upcoming releases will be equally enjoyable. Take a gander at the video below and enjoy!

Frank Ocean - Bend Ya (Feat. Kendrick Lamar)

Another combination of two of this blog's favorites with Ocean and Lamar. Bend Ya is a tight song, but it took me a minute to get used to the switches between Frank's vocals and Kendrick's flow. Then I heard the ending and realized the Tyler influence that still rolls with Frank's music every once in a while. So tight though. I love both of these artists. Take a listen below and enjoy!

Kirko Bangz - Nasty Nigga (Feat. Tyga)

Well...this produced about exactly what I expected from it. Nasty Nigga was the latest leak off Bangz's Procrastination Killz Pt. 4 mixtape that dropped yesterday. Beware, this song could potentially sneak up on you and make you like it. Check it out below and enjoy!

Lil Wayne - No Lie (Freestyle)

While I like the Drake/2 Chainz version better than this, Weezy has FINALLY not pissed me off with one of his stupid songs. Plus, I read that Weezy postponed releasing Dedication 4 so as not to conflict with 2 Chainz's Based On A T.R.U Story which I believe is a classy move. Good for you Wayne! Check the No Lie freestyle out below and enjoy!

Kendrick Lamar - Westside, Right On Time (Feat. Young Jeezy)

My bad on being M.I.A. and behind on my posts. Been busy the past few days.

Anyways, here's a track to start off my posts tonight from two of this blog's favorites. Kendrick Lamar and Jeezy are killing this track and life in general recently. Also good to see the opposite coasts combining here. This track is definitely mainly influenced by Kendrick's style, but Jeezy adapts well enough here to pull his weight. To top it all off, there is a free download available. Check Westside, Right On Time out below and enjoy!

Tarik - Might As Well Confess (Prod. Dante CK)

Pretty tight visuals to a VERY tight song. I'm a huge fan of the rapping backwards thing he does in there. Been following this guy recently and I've liked what I've seen so I'm hoping he keeps up the good work. Check it out below and enjoy!

DJ Khaled - They Ready (Feat. J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, & Big K.R.I.T.) [Prod. J. Cole]

You can't get a much better combination of artists as far as this blog goes. Cole, KRIT, and Lamar are three of my favorite hip-hop artists out right now and they are definitely some of the best young guns taking it to the world. The track, They Ready, is produced by J. Cole too, doing a good job on what is a decent beat with a solid vocal background. Check out this new fire from Khaled and the young guns of hip-hop and check out Khaled's forthcoming project Kiss The Ring when it drops. Enjoy!

P.s. sorry that yall have to listen to "funkmaster flex" in the background...this is just the first version I found on SoundCloud.

Brother Ali - Mourning in America (Prod. Jake One)

Brother Ali has never been known as one to mix words. I'm assuming his title here, Mourning in America, is a play on words from the Ronald Reagan advertisements while he was running for President saying that it was "morning in America...". Then again, I could be looking too far into this.

Regardless, the Minneapolis rapper goes in here for another track full of meaning taking on his views on what is going on abroad and here in America. Take a listen below and support Brother Ali on September 18th if you like what you hear when his new album, Mourning In America And Dreaming In Color, drops. Enjoy!

Wale - Bag Of Money (Remix) (Feat. Rick Ross, T-Pain, Omarion, Yo Gotti, Lil Wayne, & French Montana)

The list of features on this track is a little overwhelming. Can't say I was the biggest fan of MMG's most recent album, but I do enjoy most things Wale puts out until I over-listen to them and, eventually, get sick of them haha.

Anyway, the remix here has a couple decent enough verses from some big names. I've gotta say though and I feel bad singling him out because of how much I liked him in the past, but I feel like Weezy is just not good anymore. Maybe yall will disagree with my opinion on him right now and in this song, but, regardless, check the remix of Bag Of Money below and enjoy!

Alley Boy - I Live This Sh*t (Feat. Big K.R.I.T.)

As yall know, Big K.R.I.T. is a favorite of W&F and I'm definitely feeling this track that he produced and is featured on. Alley Boy does well here and the KRIT-produced deep bass beat is pretty sick too. The south is represented well here with Alley Boy out of ATL and KRIT hailing from Missisippi. Check I Live This Sh*t out below and enjoy!

Radical Something - Hang Out

I realize that not all of their songs have hip-hop vibes, but their Summer of Rad series is deserving of continued posts as some of the songs have some hip-hop/alternative sounds to them. I'm a big fan of Radical Something and I've been so stoked about the free downloads provided to the world through their SoundCloud. I hope yall check Hang Out below and enjoy it! If you do enjoy, check them out on  Facebook and SoundCloud!

Lupe Fiasco - Lamborghini Angels

Woah! If Lupe's upcoming album, Food & Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1, provides what this single is suggesting it might, then Lupe may, once again, rise to his spot at the top of the world's emcees. The beat is hypnotic and Lupe displays the lyrical and flow mastery that first gained him critical acclaim in the hip-hop world. Food & Liquor II drops September 25th and, trust me, I will be listening. So should you! Check Lamborghini Angels out below and enjoy!

Logic - My Chain (Prod. 6ix)

Logic has seen his numbers explode in the past six months so he deserves to gloat for a minute as long as he stays hungry moving forward. I'm assuming this is his reflection on what has happened in his life as he has blown up recently...now that he can afford that chain. Another good track from "Young Sinatra" that I hope yall check out below and enjoy!

Talib Kweli - To The Music (Feat. Maino) (Prod. 9th Wonder)

It is a rare exception to see a miss from Kweli on a track and this one is not going to be one of those. His flow is so smooth and he even goes more flowery than usual in this song about some softer subjects. 9th Wonder is a legend and Maino is a fellow NYC rapper who is doing his thing on this track in support. Overall excellent effort in my opinion and I hope you check it out below and enjoy!

DJ Z-Trip is producing the forthcoming mixtape Attack The Block and the upcoming album, Prisoner of Conscious, is set to be released some time in October. Look forward to more new music coming/leaking out from Kweli as those releases draw nearer.

A$AP Rocky - Purple Kisses

This video is making me think that A$AP Mob's head hauncho should take it easy with the purple drank. It's almost as if the more the Mob puts stuff out, the more Rocky feels like he needs to remind us who is in charge and, in this case, who pulls more women. Music video AND the song are trippy, but I still really do enjoy Rocky's flow. Following Bath Salt's release, Purple Kisses is the second release off the A$AP Mob mixtape Lord$ Never Worry, due out on August 28th. Check it out below and enjoy!

KiD CuDi - Just What I Am (Feat. King Chip)

So I guess CuDi decided it was time for him to give his fans something worth listening to again. I'm definitely vibing hard to this track and I am hoping that this is a sign of good things to come with CuDi's upcoming new album. King Chip (formerly Chip Tha Ripper) is also dope as per usual, but I'm used to that so it's really not even a story here. Check the track out below and enjoy!

2 Chainz - I Luv Dem Strippers (Feat. Nicki Minaj) [Official Music Video]

Ignoring the grammar of the song title...lol JUST KIDDING!

Tity Boi comes back with another strip club trap song with Ms. Minaj (feels so wrong typing "Ms." before her name). This music video has everything we have come to expect from 2 Neckless featuring strippers, money, T.I., and Jeezy. I actually found this to be pretty tight and, for once, didn't despise Nicki Minaj, even though she had a weird little line there at the end. Check it out below and enjoy!

FIRE!

Didn't make his most recent mix-tape, but I would argue that it should have. I am a giant fan of this track and I give Wichita's finest mad props for his work on this track. Beat gets a thumbs up and his lyrics do as well. Check it out below and enjoy!

Talib Kweli - Push Thru (Feat. Curren$y & Kendrick Lamar)

Tight visuals for a tight song here. Talib Kweli always bring the messages in his raps and I'm a huge fan of one of the newest stars of the hip-hop universe, Kendrick Lamar. I like that they each had visuals from their cities in here. Check this video out below and enjoy it!

B.o.B. - Play The Guitar (Feat. André 3000)

Newly released visuals for Bob's track Play The Guitar with AndrĂ© 3000. I'm honestly not the biggest fan of B.o.B., but AndrĂ© 3000 is one of my all-time favorites so I felt okay after listening to this track. The two combined make for an entertaining song, but it's definitely not my favorite and the visuals are nothing out of this world. Check it out below and see for yourself!

Jeremih - Outta Control (Feat. Gucci Mane & 2 Chainz)

Radical Something - Tequila Kiss

We are in week 9 of 12 in the #SummerOfRad series from the California trio Radical Something. Tequila Kiss is a step in a different direction this week as they go on a little sappier route with this track. Regardless, I love their sound and love that this series has been free for their fans/followers. As someone who did not listen to them before #SummerOfRad, I'm super glad the free downloads have been available for me to become a fan and, moving forward, I'll definitely continue to support them in the future.

Check Tequila Kiss out below and enjoy the free download.

These guys are awesome and deserve our support so go Like them on Facebook, follow them on SoundCloud, and follow @WeAreRadical on Twitter.

Aaliyah - Enough Said (Feat. Drake)

Risky move here for Drake going in on an Aaliyah track. I haven't heard much from Drake recently that I enjoyed, but he definitely could have done worse with this. I'll probably keep this in the play circuit for a little while since he isn't being stupid and singing too much. Take a listen below and enjoy!

Trey Songz - Hail Mary (Feat. Young Jeezy & Lil Wayne)

Hail Mary is off Trey Songz' upcoming album CHAPTER V, set to be released on August 21st. I'm actually a pretty big fan of this track. I think Weezy did pretty well with his verse, especially considering how bad he has been recently. Of course, Jeezy kills it as we have come to expect from #itsthaworld. Check it out below and look for the official video with Kevin Hart (I'm hearing) to be released soon! Enjoy!

Tyga - Do My Dance (Feat. 2 Chainz)

Unbelievably inappropriate song...if only it was actually shocking coming from these two artists haha. The strip club favorite, Tyga, and Tity Boi combine here for what can only be described as a joke of a song. Pretty sure I would die laughing if an edited version of this song could even be created. Anyways, check the track out below and enjoy if you can haha!

Machine Gun Kelly - Hold On (Feat. Young Jeezy)

Normally, I'm really not a fan of MGK. However, he actually sounds pretty good on this track to me. The beat is pretty tight as well.

Having said that...#itsthaworld absolutely makes this song. Any Jeezy appearance on a track these days makes my eyes go O_o! Love Snow Go's feature on this track and I think it's worth your time for sure, especially considering the free download made available by GMAD. Check it out below and enjoy!

Justin Bieber - As Long As You Love Me (Feat. Big Sean)

As ashamed as I am to be posting this, the little punk has become so famous that he is newsworthy on most self-respecting hip-hop blogs. I can't stand him nor his music, but I did enjoy watching him get the you know what beaten out of him. No, I don't care that it wasn't real. I'm gonna pretend it was! Check it out and (don't) enjoy it below!

Also, why Big Sean? WHY?!? My guess: $$$$
